As a Data Analyst at Bloom Tech, you will be the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will dive deep into complex datasets, uncover hidden trends, and create compelling visualizations that guide our business growth.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
- Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact business strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Present clear, actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) for data extraction.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data to non-technical audiences.
