Role Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets. Your work will help stakeholders understand data trends, solve business problems, and optimize operations.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Design and implement complex SQL queries and data models to extract meaningful insights.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and define business metrics.
- Perform A/B testing and statistical analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
- Document data processes and maintain data dictionaries for the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in SQL (writing and optimization) and experience with Python or R.
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with ETL processes and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to relocate to North Carolina.
