Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Processing: Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and integrity for analysis.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex queries and stored procedures in SQL to extract data and perform deep-dive analyses.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive, visually appealing dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within our data sets.
- Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports that provide actionable insights to the executive team, supporting business growth and strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Modeling: Develop predictive models to forecast trends and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and experience with scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex business problems using data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, Talend) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
