Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts across SIEM platforms and EDR tools
- Investigate and document security incidents using NIST framework
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys
- Develop playbooks for incident response procedures
- Collaborate with network teams on firewall rule optimization
- Generate executive security dashboards and threat reports
- Participate in penetration testing simulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in security operations center (SOC) environments
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and protocols
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage
