Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) to detect potential threats in real-time.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations, root cause analysis, and incident response activities to contain and mitigate threats.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a SOC, Security Operations Center, or related security role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are a significant plus.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security concepts (AWS/Azure).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and log analysis.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
