Responsibilities
- Extract and Analyze Data: Gather, clean, and interpret complex datasets to uncover hidden trends and business opportunities.
- Visualize Insights: Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Automate Reporting: Develop automated SQL queries and scripts to reduce manual reporting time and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate: Partner with product managers and executives to understand business goals and translate them into data-driven strategies.
- Monitor Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reviews to the leadership team.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for data integrity and ensure accurate reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong working knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or similar BI tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data warehousing concepts.
