Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security controls across cloud/on-premise environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Monitor SIEM platforms for threat detection and incident response coordination
- Develop security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Lead security awareness training programs for technical and non-technical staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps workflows
- Manage third-party vendor security assessments and risk evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in threat detection/response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools (Ansible)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate security risks to stakeholders
