Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security incidents using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Document security procedures and create audit reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
