Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols for equity options trading systems
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on trading platforms
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Collaborate with trading teams to embed security into DevOps pipelines
- Develop threat intelligence specific to financial market cyber attacks
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Mentor junior security professionals and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial services or fintech
- Expertise in equity options trading systems and market data protocols
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and security automation tools
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Deep understanding of DDoS mitigation and network segmentation
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SOX, GDPR, CCPA)
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
