Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM systems and intrusion detection tools for real-time threats against equity options trading infrastructure
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and implement mitigation protocols
- Develop and maintain security controls for options trading platforms and related APIs
- Collaborate with financial analysts to understand attack vectors specific to equity options markets
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on trading systems
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with FINRA/SEC regulations
- Provide on-call support during night shift operations and major market events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with focus on financial systems or trading platforms
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Knowledge of equity options trading concepts and market infrastructure
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills for high-pressure security incidents
