Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial systems
- Monitor real-time security threats using SIEM tools and respond to incidents
- Collaborate with trading teams to ensure regulatory compliance (SOX, SEC)
- Develop incident response plans tailored to equity options market volatility
- Maintain security documentation and conduct employee training
- Integrate zero-trust architecture into financial transaction systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in financial cybersecurity or options trading security
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH (required)
- Deep understanding of equity options trading mechanisms
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and financial security frameworks
