Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructures
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Perform compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Document security policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on threat analysis experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and encryption protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
