Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop/implement security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Analyze threat intelligence and provide actionable security recommendations
- Document security incidents and generate comprehensive audit reports
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, and IDS/IPS
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, encryption, and threat detection methods
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and zero-trust architecture
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
