Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during overnight hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with urgency and precision
- Perform threat hunting and proactive vulnerability assessments
- Document security events and maintain detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with global security teams during cross-continental incident response
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct periodic penetration testing and security audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC operations focus
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST standards
- Previous night shift or 24/7 operations experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
