Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during overnight hours
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with forensic analysis
- Implement intrusion detection/prevention systems and firewalls
- Collaborate with global teams during critical incident escalations
- Generate comprehensive threat intelligence reports for leadership
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for overnight operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC/NOC experience preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with Linux/Windows security hardening
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong written communication for incident reporting
