Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks and cloud infrastructure
- Investigate and respond to security incidents using SOAR automation tools
- Conduct forensic analysis and document incident reports with NIST-compliant standards
- Collaborate with global teams during major security events and incident response
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Implement security controls and hardening procedures for network devices
- Stay current with emerging threats and update defense strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with night shift experience preferred
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection methodologies
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and IDS/IPS systems
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize under pressure
