Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with minimal supervision
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed forensic reports
- Collaborate with day-shift teams during incident handovers
- Implement security patches and updates during maintenance windows
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and anomaly detection
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or 24/7 operations background
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and threat intelligence sources
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal oversight
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
- Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to relocate to Fort Worth area
