Responsibilities
- Design and implement security protocols for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing on financial systems and identify vulnerabilities
- Monitor threat intelligence and respond to security incidents in real-time
- Collaborate with traders and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for equity options infrastructure
- Lead security audits for financial data storage and transmission systems
- Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals on financial security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with financial systems focus
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP preferred
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, Darktrace, CrowdStrike)
- Knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and options trading regulations
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols and zero-trust architecture
