As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you'll design robust security architectures, conduct vulnerability assessments, and lead incident response initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and proactively mitigate risks. Our Columbus hub is a strategic center for regional operations, offering hybrid work flexibility and state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using tools like Metasploit and Burp Suite
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and analyze security alerts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network security and threat detection
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in security tools: Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Nessus, Wireshark
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Active security clearance preferred
