Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and breach mitigation strategies
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related role
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure) frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
