Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and execute breach mitigation
- Analyze network traffic for suspicious activities
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Generate security reports and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
