Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards during weekend shifts to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct log analysis and forensic investigations to determine the scope and root cause of security incidents.
- Respond to and triage escalated security alerts, including phishing attempts and unauthorized access attempts.
- Collaborate with the SOC team on shift handovers to ensure seamless continuity of security operations.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management tasks for critical systems outside of standard business hours.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed operational logs for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network defense.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common attack vectors.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar) and EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black).
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CISSP preferred.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (e.g., Saturday & Sunday) with high availability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
