Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure SIEM tools and firewalls to ensure network integrity.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and improve security postures.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or InfoSec role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
