Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security systems to identify and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen organizational defenses.
- Manage and respond to security incidents, including malware analysis and forensic investigations.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, policies, and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
