Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security patches and configuration changes to mitigate risks.
- Investigate and contain security breaches, providing detailed forensic analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design secure architectures and enforce compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Stay updated on the latest threat vectors and industry best practices to ensure our defenses remain impenetrable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
