Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) activities and respond to incidents in real-time.
- Perform threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden network architecture.
- Analyze log data using SIEM tools to detect anomalies.
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC or security analysis role.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and Linux/Windows administration.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
