Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM platform (Splunk/Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and execute security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure architecture design and deployment.
- Perform threat hunting and root cause analysis to neutralize active threats.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security.
- Proficiency with security tools including SIEM, EDR, and DLP solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder briefings.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume incident response scenarios.
