Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to incidents in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches, performing forensic analysis to mitigate damage.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and improve system resilience.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) or cybersecurity analyst role.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and endpoint protection technologies.
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
