Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Enforce compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or SOC Analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems.
- Experience with scripting (Python/Bash) for security automation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
