Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, reports, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence (MITRE ATT&CK framework)
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC analyst role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Hands-on experience with incident response methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance within 30 days
