Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations
- Implement and optimize security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure architecture design
- Generate executive security dashboards and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS controls
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
