Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Incident response coordination including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Perform penetration testing and security control validation
- Stay current on emerging threats and compliance requirements (NIST, CIS)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related IT security role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and EDR tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security frameworks
- Experience with incident response processes (NIST SP 800-61)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
