Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and monthly threat intelligence reports
- Lead cross-functional incident response drills and tabletop exercises
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations (SOC, incident response, or threat analysis)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in security tools: SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, and network analyzers
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence methodologies
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
