Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Lead the incident response process for security breaches, coordinating with legal and IT teams.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or threat intelligence.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud architectures (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
