Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and perform timely remediation of identified security weaknesses across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Investigate security incidents, coordinate with incident response teams, and lead root cause analysis to prevent future breaches.
- Enforce strict security policies, compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001), and access controls.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement robust security architectures.
- Conduct security awareness training and provide technical guidance on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or cybersecurity role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and security architecture.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
