Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within our SIEM environment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches or policy violations to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development and deployment practices.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees to foster a culture of security.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT security operations.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, FireEye, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
