Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot network issues via remote access and on-site support
- Implement security protocols (VPNs, ACLs, intrusion detection)
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architecture
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Arista equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Proficient in network monitoring tools and automation scripts
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Valid NJ driver's license for occasional off-site visits
