Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes in agile sprints
- Develop test plans and test scripts covering functional, regression, and user acceptance criteria
- Participate in requirements analysis to identify potential quality risks early
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and user experience issues
- Maintain test environments and ensure consistent configurations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of QA testing experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems
- Familiarity with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and database validation (SQL)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize defects based on business impact
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience
