Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise networks including LAN/WAN configurations, VPNs, and wireless systems
- Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime to identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architecture
- Lead network upgrades and migrations while ensuring minimal business disruption
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior technicians
- Optimize network performance through capacity planning and traffic analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba certifications
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- CCNP or CCIE certification required (JNCIP/JNCIE strongly preferred)
- Proven experience with SD-WAN implementation and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in network forensics and troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
