This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work with optional in-person collaboration at our Saint Paul headquarters. You'll work alongside industry experts to implement robust security protocols and incident response strategies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and investigate suspicious activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies through continuous research
- Provide security awareness training to employees across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation
- Strong understanding of network security protocols and cloud architectures
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
