Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Implement zero-trust architecture and cloud security protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Research emerging threats and recommend defensive countermeasures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and firewalls
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) security configurations
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Excellent written communication and incident documentation abilities
