Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Manage and escalate security incidents according to established playbooks and incident response procedures.
- Enforce security policies and best practices across the organization to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and patch management strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports on security posture, threats, and incident trends for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC or Security Analyst role.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and logs.
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification is highly preferred.
