Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with NIST-aligned methodologies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Provide incident response support during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in security operations, incident response, or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex data points
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
