In this role, you will act as the first line of defense for our enterprise infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across the network using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents in real-time.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams on secure architecture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with Linux/Windows administration and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
