Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Stay current with emerging threats (ransomware, APTs) and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call duty (1 week/month)
- Deliver security awareness training to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience with SOC/operations focus
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISM certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (FireEye, CrowdStrike)
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent written communication for reporting and documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
