Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate security incidents and develop remediation plans
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards
- Document security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams on security infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
