Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents across the network.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error risks.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches and malware infections.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure software architectures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are mandatory.
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting or collaboratively in an office.
