Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security team on a part-time basis. Based in Jacksonville, FL, this role offers the flexibility to balance your professional expertise with personal commitments while protecting critical infrastructure. You will work closely with our Incident Response team to ensure the highest level of defense against cyber threats.

Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Perform log analysis to identify potential breaches or suspicious activity.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts.
- Develop and update incident response playbooks and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen network defenses.
- Provide detailed reporting on security incidents and compliance status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or incident response.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI models, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
