This accelerated program combines classroom instruction with real-world threat detection exercises in a high-stakes government contracting environment.
Our 6-month paid training curriculum covers network defense, threat intelligence, incident response, and compliance frameworks. Upon completion, you'll transition to a full-time analyst role monitoring our SOC infrastructure, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security controls for federal clients. No prior cybersecurity experience required—just a passion for digital defense!
Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and anomalous network behavior
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed forensic reports
- Implement firewall rules and access control policies
- Collaborate with incident response teams during security breaches
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance assessments
- Stay current on emerging threats and countermeasures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (post-training)
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux operating systems
- Willingness to pursue CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
