Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalies
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity threats using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Collaborate with global teams during incident response and threat hunting
- Document security events and maintain detailed incident reports
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay current on emerging threats and defensive technologies
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC, incident response, or threat analysis)
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent written communication for documentation and reporting
- Comfortable with night shift schedule (10 PM - 6 AM EST)
